UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to administer anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases. The role includes clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
• PALS from the American Heart Association (AHA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Education
