UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases and catheterizations, as well as clinical instruction for nurse anesthesia students.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and current APN/CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing, with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Currently certified with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Currently certified with Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Currently certified with Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsabilidades

• To provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic surgical procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• To participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
