The position requires graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and current CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing, with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA Specialty is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic surgical procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
