Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and cardio-thoracic cases. You will also participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, current APN with CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing, and ACLS/BLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• APN with CRNA Specialty per Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
