Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic cases.

The role includes clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and requires ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, along with graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
• APN with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, or cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
