Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under supervision for a range of surgical procedures at the UAB St. Vincent’s East campus.

The CRNA will participate in clinical instruction for anesthesia students and follow Department of Anesthesiology policies. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program, Alabama CRNA license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
Alabama Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license required.
Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
Key responsibilities performed under the policy and procedures of the Department of Anesthesiology.
