Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a CRNA to join the Division of Community Anesthesia serving UAB St. Vincent’s East campus.

The role provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, with autonomy and a collegial team of physicians and surgeons. Candidates must graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program and hold an Alabama CRNA license, with current BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program required.
• Alabama Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license required.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
• Key Responsibilities are performed under the direction of the anesthesiologists according to the policy and procedures of the Department of Anesthesiology.
