Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the Division of Community Anesthesia at UAB St. Vincent’s East campus near Birmingham.

You will provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures, and participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students. We offer a collaborative, academic environment with autonomy and a collegial team of six anesthesiologists and CRNAs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program required.
• Alabama CRNA license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
