Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for a variety of surgical procedures. The role includes clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and collaboration with a team of surgeons and anesthesiologists.

The position supports the UAB St. Vincent’s East campus, a busy acute care setting with diverse surgical services and a strong academic environment. Alabama license and current BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program required.
• Alabama CRNA license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
