Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests at the UAB St. Vincent’s East campus northeast of Birmingham.

The role includes participation in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students, collaborating with a team of six anesthesiologists and more than 19 CRNAs, within a center performing over 10,000 procedures annually across 12 operating rooms.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Alabama CRNA license required.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
