Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests at UAB St. Vincent’s East.

You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students within a collaborative, academic environment. Requirement includes graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program, Alabama CRNA license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
• Performs key responsibilities under the policy and procedures of the Department of Anesthesiology.
