Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures at UAB St. Vincent’s East campus, northeast of Birmingham.

The role includes participation in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students within a busy academic environment. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program, hold an Alabama CRNA license, and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Alabama Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
