The division supports autonomous practice within a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and surgeons, with access to diverse cases and a strong commitment to high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program required.
• Alabama Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license required.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
