Job summary

Mattel is seeking a CRM Marketing Associate to support email and SMS programs for American Girl, partnering with Marketing, Creative, Loyalty, and Ecomm teams to deliver personalized, on-brand communications. You will help plan campaigns, maintain calendars, and drive lifecycle journeys with a data-informed mindset.

The role emphasizes execution, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance engagement, conversion, and revenue.

Qualifications

Experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or email/SMS marketing in retail or consumer products.
Hands-on experience with an ESP (Klaviyo preferred) and end-to-end campaign execution.
Experience supporting CRM calendars, audience segmentation, and lifecycle campaigns.
Experience working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and merchandising teams.

Responsibilities

Support planning and execution of CRM campaigns across email and SMS, including promotions and launches.
Maintain CRM calendar aligned with marketing strategies and retail moments.
Collaborate with design and copy to deliver on-brand messaging and optimize performance.
Assist with audience segmentation, lifecycle journeys, and personalization efforts.
Coordinate production across teams and external partners to meet timelines.
Perform QA to ensure content accuracy, links, and tracking.
Monitor performance metrics and share learnings to inform future campaigns.
Support data hygiene and compliance in CRM communications (CAN-SPAM, TCPA).
