Job summary

Ice Miller LLP is hiring a Legal Marketing Technology Manager in Chicago to oversee the firm’s marketing technology suite, including CRM and ERM. You will ensure data accuracy and drive platform upgrades, working with attorneys and staff to align marketing data with business development goals.

You will train teams, build processes, analyze data, and create Power BI dashboards and Power Automate workflows to support campaigns and client outreach. 5–8 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analysis/Management, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in marketing technology, CRM management, ERM and marketing operations systems.
• Experience in a law firm or industry-specific knowledge is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CRM and ERM platforms and other marketing systems.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary owner of the firm’s CRM and ERM platforms; oversee configurations, integrations, enhancements and data governance.
• Partner with Knowledge Management, Business Development and Marketing to ensure data accuracy and usability for pitches and client work.
• Define standards for data structure, taxonomy and integration with other systems.
• Support ERM reporting and use-case development for pitches, proposals and bios.
• Drive CRM/ERM adoption through training, documentation and user support; lead change management for new tools and processes.
• Develop and document marketing processes and SOPs for CRM and ERM, and maintain the data dictionary.
• Ensure data quality and standardization; ensure required fields are populated per data standards.
• Oversee data flow between CRM, ERM, email marketing and other systems; manage imports and audience lists.
