University System of Maryland Office is seeking a CRM Project Director to lead a multi-institution Salesforce implementation. You will oversee planning, vendor management, data governance, and change management across eleven USM institutions to deliver a unified advancement platform supporting fundraising operations.

The role requires extensive project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and governance expertise to balance consortium objectives with institutional needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis for up to four years.
• Seven years of progressive project/program management experience, including leading an enterprise CRM or major system implementation.
• Experience leading multi-stakeholder programs and building consensus across institutional boundaries.
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and enterprise data governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day Salesforce CRM implementation across eleven institutions, aligning with scope, timelines, budget, and quality expectations.
• Maintains integrated project plan, roadmap, and communications strategy per governance standards; supports program objectives.
• Monitors project health, risks, issues, dependencies, and resources; prepares executive reports as requested.
• Oversees vendors, consultants, and external partners to meet project requirements and service expectations.
• Leads change management and user adoption efforts across institutions with training and readiness initiatives.
