Job summary

Concentric is a national industrial power services organization delivering forklift and critical power maintenance solutions. We seek a Critical Power UPS Technician to service and install UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, and switches, providing technical support and on‑site training.

Frequent travel, on‑call rotations, and strict safety compliance are required. You will troubleshoot complex power systems, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Factory training or equivalent in repair/maintenance of UPS brands preferred.
• Experience working on 3-Phase UPS systems required.
• Good understanding of battery theory and maintenance procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and pass drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on contracted equipment as scheduled.
• Maintain electrical test equipment and safety compliance.
• Startups and commissioning of UPS systems.
• Provide 24/7 on-call emergency services as needed.
• Maintain batteries and battery systems per design specs.
• Install designed battery systems per safety codes.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on large installations.
• Educate customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Document Field Service Reports, RMA, time and expense reports.
• May perform warehouse duties including forklift operation.
