Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Command Center Technician II to monitor and operate campus utility and facility systems, ensuring reliable performance and regulatory compliance. The role serves as a central coordination point for facility events and requires monitoring, troubleshooting, and timely communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include alarm response, data analysis, documentation, and cross-functional coordination in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• AS degree or certificate in a science/technical field or a technical trade school.
• 2-5 years of experience in a related facility/utility environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate Global Command Center systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS) and other facility monitoring platforms.
• Respond to, investigate, and coordinate alarm events using BMS, Insight, PI, MelRok, and other site tools.
• Analyze trends and system performance to troubleshoot and resolve issues timely.
• Assess alarm relationships and operational impacts to guide response and escalation.
• Coordinate cross-functional response activities and communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain shift pass-downs, alarm logs, and event reports with accurate documentation.
• Perform routine operational tasks including system monitoring and maintenance support.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, GMP, GDP, safety and site procedures.
• Serve as a technical resource and share knowledge with teammates.
