Job summary

Northwest Ambulance seeks a Critical Care Transport RN to deliver ICU-level care during interfacility transport. You’ll assess and manage critically ill patients, coordinate with physicians and care teams, and document care en route.

Required: active RN license, 3 years CCU/ED experience, ACLS and PALS certs. CCRN/CEN and BSN preferred. 24‑ or 12‑hour shifts with strong benefits and education support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 3 years of CCU/ED experience.
• ACLS and PALS certs required before hire.
• CCRN and/or CEN preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Patient transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing during interfacility transport.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses and family to ensure safety.
• Supervise care, ongoing assessment and treatment en route.
• Maintain accurate documentation as per policy.
• Operate and assist with patient care equipment.
• Maintain vehicle, station and equipment readiness.
• Follow EMS protocols and company policies.
