Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a part-time Critical Care Tech in Camden, NJ to support the Clinical Decision Unit and care team. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, communication with the healthcare team, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Under RN supervision, you will perform tasks such as phlebotomy, vital signs, EKGs, and catheter care, while promoting patient education and safety. Shift is 7a-7:30p with weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience required.
• High School or GED completed.
• Active Patient Care Technician Certification and PCT training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and support the plan of care.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs and Foley catheter care.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and assist in orienting new hires.
