Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Critical Care Tech to support the care team on a medical-surgical unit. The role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living and performing technical tasks under RN supervision in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patients, communicate changes in status, and reinforce patient education while maintaining safety and quality standards. The position requires a PCT certification and BLS.

Qualifikationen

• 0-2 years of healthcare experience.
• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training and active PCT certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CPCT-A certification required.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff.

Aufgaben

• Assist with activities of daily living for patients (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transport).
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs and Foley catheter care as directed by RN.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and rounds with the healthcare team.
