Qualifications

• 0–2 years’ experience in healthcare settings.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• PCT training completed with active PCT certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CPCT-A certification completed.

Responsibilities

• Support patients’ activities of daily living and follow standard precautions.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, and Foley care.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and training of new hires.
• Complete annual competencies by the due date.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
