Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Fundamentals of Nursing course with clinical in accredited program; active enrollment in nursing school.
• Field of Study: Registered Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patients' activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transport).
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, Foley catheter care as directed by RN.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and orientation of new hires.
• Complete annual hospital and unit-specific competencies by due date.
• Adhere to safety protocols and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status promptly.
