Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Critical Care Tech for Pavilion 7 in Camden, NJ. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, performing phlebotomy, vital signs, EKGs, and documenting care under the supervision of an RN.

You'll support the healthcare team and patients around the clock, contribute to safety and quality initiatives, and participate in ongoing education during full-time night shifts with weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required with completion of PCT training.
• Active Patient Care Technician certification required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and supportive care.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, and point-of-care testing as directed.
• Communicate changes in patient status to RN and document findings.
• Reinforce patient and family education and safety practices.
• Participate in orientation and quality improvement activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain professional ethics.
