Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ seeks a Critical Care Tech to support the RN team on Pavilion 9 across the cardiac unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, perform phlebotomy and vital signs, and help maintain safety and overall patient care.

The role emphasizes patient education, teamwork, and effective communication with patients and families, with part-time days and rotating weekend/holiday shifts. Requirements include High School/GED, active PCT Certification, and AHA BLS.

Competenze

• 0-2 years of experience required.
• High School/GED required.
• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training and active PCT Certification required.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• Successful completion of CPT, CPCT-A certifications.

Mansioni

• Assist with daily living activities and follow precautions.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, catheter care.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN.
• Reinforce education for patients and families.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and performance improvement activities.
• Complete annual hospital and unit-specific competencies by the due date.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high-quality patient care.
