Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Nursing School Critical Care Tech for Pavilion 9 in Camden, NJ. The role supports RNs and the healthcare team by assisting with activities of daily living, performing phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs, and communicating changes in patient status.

The position emphasizes safety, patient education, and participation in performance improvement activities, with shift patterns of 7pm–7:30am and rotating weekend requirements.

Qualificações

• High School/GED required.
• Fundamentals of Nursing course with clinical included in program or enrollment.
• Field of Study: Registered Nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transportation) and follow precautions.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, Foley catheter care as directed and document.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and quality improvement activities.
• Complete annual hospital/unit competencies by due date.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure safe patient care.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status as needed.
