Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Critical Care Step Down RN for the 7 West unit. This full-time role features bi-weekly hours totaling 72, with rotating 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts, including weekends and holidays.

A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced RNs (or $5,000 for new graduates) is available. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs and monitor patient status.
• Provide central line care and bedside procedures.
• Manage Rescue BiPAP, high flow O2, Trach/vents as needed.
• Coordinate with PCNAs, interns and providers; ensure safety.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation and time management.
