Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a dedicated RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, with 72 bi-weekly hours and a rotating shift schedule. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualified experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates.

You will provide critical care nursing in a high-acuity environment, performing procedures, monitoring telemetry, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire or obtained earlier.
• Rotating shifts; 72 Bi-Weekly Hours; full-time status.
• Experience in critical care or step-down settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step-Down Unit with telemetry monitoring.
• Perform bedside procedures and collaborate with care teams.
• Interpret EKGs, manage ventilator/airway support, and respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate with PCAs, interns, providers, and therapists to ensure patient safety.
