MetroHealth is hiring an RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the Main Campus. You will provide bedside nursing, monitor complex patients, and support procedures and ventilatory care in a high-acuity environment.

Expect rotating weekends and holidays with a mix of day/night shifts. The unit offers collaboration with PCNAs, interns, and providers, and emphasizes critical thinking, safety, and patient-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or equivalent program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS required; ACLS certification preferred or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care on the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit.
• Monitor patient status and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Assist with bedside procedures and ventilatory support as needed.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapy teams.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
