Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West on the Main Campus. You will provide skilled nursing care, monitor telemetry, and support bedside procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include ventilator/line management, EKG interpretation, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Rotating weekends and holidays are required; bi-weekly hours total 72.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers, within 90 days if not current.
• ACLS certification, within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry as part of patient assessment.
• Manage central lines, ventilators, and bedside procedures when needed.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT/OT on patient plans.
