Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at the Main Campus. The role involves bedside patient care, EKG interpretation, and collaboration with PCNAs, providers, and therapists on a 14-bed unit.

Shift is 7a-7p with rotating weekends and holidays, bi-weekly 72 hours. Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS required; PRN requires 1 year of experience. Tuition reimbursement and certification incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio or actively pursuing licensure
• BLS for healthcare providers current or within 90 days of hire
• ACLS current or within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications at hire

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West)
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies)
• Collaborate with PCNAs, nurses, providers, PT/OT
• Support family and patient education as needed
