Job summary

MetroHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at MetroHealth Main Campus. You will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment, perform EKG interpretation, manage central lines, and assist with complex procedures, while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

Excellent benefits and opportunities for certification advancement are offered. Rotation includes weekends and holidays with bi-weekly hours totaling 72.0 across two weeks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, physical therapy and occupational therapy teams.
• Assist with bedside procedures and critical care monitoring as needed.
