Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. The role features 72 bi-weekly hours with rotating 7a-7p and rotating weekends/holidays, supporting patients with complex needs in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, BiPAP/High Flow Oxygen, and assisting with bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies, while applying critical thinking and delegation skills in

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.
