Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick in Cleveland, OH. This RN role requires strong telemetry, line care, and bedside procedure skills, with rotating shifts and weekends.

The ideal candidate will hold an Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience for PRN, with BSN preferred. MetroHealth offers robust benefits and OPERS retirement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Assist with bedside procedures and procedures related to critical care.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, and Providers to ensure quality patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management.
