Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, to deliver skilled patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor patients, interpret EKGs, manage central lines and ventilator support, and participate in bedside procedures. Requires Ohio RN license, BLS (within 90 days), ACLS (within 6 months); PRN experience supported by certifications on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Monitor patient status and intervene for deterioration as needed.
• Perform/assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Interpret EKGs and manage cardiac monitoring.
• Care for patients with lines, vents, and respiratory support; assist with therapies.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, nurses, providers, PT/OT for coordinated care.
