Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the MetroHealth Main Campus - Glick. Bi-weekly hours are 72 with shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a, rotating weekends and holidays. Join a high-acuity team delivering patient-centered care in a state-of-the-art environment.

Eligible candidates hold an Ohio RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and ideally BSN. The unit cares for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, offering growth through certification incentives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Ohio RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience and active certifications at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in MetroHealth's Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Perform EKG interpretation and manage central lines and ventilatory support.
• Assist with bedside procedures and coordinate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.
• Apply critical thinking, time management and delegation in a busy acuity setting.
