Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus, Glick location, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. This full-time role involves caring for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and assisting with bedside procedures, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Applicants must hold Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (or within specified time), and have 1 year RN experience for PRN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Manage respiratory support (BiPAP, HFNC, Trach/Vents).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
