MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, on the MetroHealth Main Campus in Cleveland. The RN will care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, using telemetry and advanced nursing tech in a 14-bed unit.

Required qualifications include Ohio RN licensure and ACLS/BLSC within set timelines; BSN and Magnet-certified nurses are preferred. Ward teamwork, safety, and high-quality patient care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West.
• Interpret ECGs and monitor telemetry.
• Perform bedside procedures and assist with endoscopies/bronchoscopy.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapists.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
