MetroHealth Main Campus in Cleveland is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. The role focuses on bedside care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, with rotating weekends and shifts.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, BiPAP/High Flow support, and assisting with bedside procedures. Strong critical thinking and time management are essential; collaborate with PCNAs, interns, and providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certified; ACLS certification preferred/required within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience and active certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Perform EKG interpretation and monitor telemetry.
• Support with central line care and bedside procedures.
• Assist with Rescue Bi-pap, high flow oxygen, and vents as needed.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, time management, and delegation to team.
