Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick in Northeast Ohio. You will care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis, perform EKG interpretation, central line care, and assist with bedside procedures in a high-tech setting.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and preference for BSN; experience in critical care is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
