Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus in Ohio is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) to care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis. You will perform EKG interpretation, central line care, BiPAP/High Flow support, and assist with bedside procedures while applying critical thinking and time management in a 14-bed unit.

The position requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and 1 year of RN experience for PRN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
