Job summary

Trinity Health, through St Mary’s Health Care System in Georgia, is seeking a Staff RN for the Critical Care Unit. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, and leading the nursing unit as Charge Nurse when assigned.

The RN will work on two units — ICU and Neuro ICU — with opportunities to grow across interventional stroke care, while delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.
• Refresher course within the past 6 months if no practice in past 5 years.
• Prior experience in preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop and modify care plans.
• Collaborate with Care/Support Teams to achieve outcomes.
• Hold accountability for care provided to a group of patients.
• Provide care utilizing nursing process, environment, and team support.
