Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Staff RN for the Critical Care Unit in Athens, Georgia. The role leads a nursing unit and may serve as Charge Nurse when assigned, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a collaborative setting.

The position includes night rotations on a 12-hour shift with opportunities for growth and interdisciplinary teamwork. A Georgia RN license and accredited nursing education are required.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.
• Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience in preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop, evaluate and modify the care plan.
• Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures.
• Work as part of the Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes.
