Job summary

Trinity Health – Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit (Nights). The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients as part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a Catholic health system.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia RN license, graduated from an accredited nursing program, and has or is willing to complete a refresher course as needed.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
• Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience in critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
• Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures within the nurse's scope of practice.
• RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team and collaborate to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide care to patients using the nursing process, the environment, and other healthcare team members, per established standards.
• Be accountable for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame.
