Job summary

St Mary's Health Care System in Athens, Georgia seeks a Staff RN for the Critical Care Unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and may serve as Charge Nurse when assigned this task.

Working with an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver evidence-based care, support the patient visit experience, and contribute to compassionate, holistic care that treats the whole person—physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.
• Refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience in preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the unit.
• Lead the nursing unit and act as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.
• Support the patient visit experience and care quality.
