Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Fulltime Registered Nurse for the Intermediate ICU on a night shift (7p–7a) in Georgia. The RN will practice in a Magnet-designated campus with a strong culture of care, leading interdisciplinary teams and delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

The role requires a nursing diploma with or without a BSN, state licensure, BLS, ACLS, and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity 16-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting age, gender, disease, and culture.
• Partners with patients and families using bedside shift reports, rounds and teaching to align with goals.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care and diverse interdisciplinary communication.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration, supports fiscal responsibility and staff recruitment/retention.
• Participates in performance improvement and research utilization to promote safe, quality care.
• Serves as a preceptor/mentor to develop current and future nursing staff.
