Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit in Christiana Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift with rotating days. You will care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families during some of their most challenging moments.

BSN is required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years). Minimum 1 year of acute care experience is expected.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
