Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit seeks a Registered Nurse to join the MICU team. This full-time position features a 36-hour weekly schedule with night shifts and day rotations at Christiana Hospital.

You will deliver expert, patient-centered care to critically ill adults in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a BSN with ADN considered if pursuing BSN within 3 years, at least 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, and ACLS preferred with delivery within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
