Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon, GA, is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Unit (CCU). The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with a day shift (7A–P) and weekend requirements. Pay ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

CCU focuses on critically ill adults with complex medical or surgical needs; new CCU RNs participate in the Critical Care Academy (CCA) to support skill development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans; coordinates with care team.
• Maintains safety culture and accurate documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Provides clear communication and effective delegation within the team.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Float to other units as needed within service area.
