Job summary

Advocate Health's Critical Care Unit (CCU) in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-hour workweek in a 10-bed unit, focusing on critically ill adults. New to critical care may join the CCU Academy to develop skills. Base pay falls within a listed range and benefits are provided.

The role requires RN licensure in the U.S. and a BSN is preferred. Candidates should be capable of providing high-quality, ethical patient care and may be asked to float to related units as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in the state(s) of practice; multi-state license or state privileges as required.
• BSN preferred; continuing education as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care; engages patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, collaborates with the care team, and ensures safety.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols; maintain clinical documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
